Does not absorb into skin
This product is thick and spreads easily. However, it does not absorb well into skin. I felt like I was applying a coating instead of a cream. I applied at bed time, and the next morning I still felt like I had a coating (or plastic wrap!) on my skin. This cream may provide a "barrier'', but it does not soak in or soften skin! This product contains a lot of synthetic ingredients, and they just sit on top of the skin. Not good.

I thought this cream was too heavy, and my skin did not absorb it. It almost felt waxy. My mistake was that I was looking for a face cream and this clearly is not light enough for that.

Not a fan. Was hoping for something more absorbent. It is very think and you really have to work it into your skin. It could be effective but too hard to deal with to find out.

Didn't work for me
I tried the Vanicream Moisturizer and unfortunately it didn't work for me, although it had been recommended by my dermatologist. I have a special skin condition on my neck that is caused by sun exposure many years ago that makes me sensitive to all creams. After using the cream twice, I developed an itch in the affected area, although I think that this is a good product that most people would be able to use successfully.
