Of all the petroleum-jelly-like products out there, this is my favorite. This is creamier and more absorbent. It calms my skin and restores it to a moisturized, balanced state. I had to switch over to all Vanicream products because of my severe eczema. I also have extremely dry skin. I had been using Vanicream's Moisturizing Lotion, which was fine for some parts of my body but really inadequate for other parts.
