Lightweight but not enough hold
I had really high hopes about this product from prior reviews with my hair type but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I made sure to use a small amount as instructed and per reviews. It didn’t hold at all. So the next time I added just a bit more but still no load and now my hair felt weighed down and full of product. The smell is wonderful but it just didn’t work. Such a bummer since I waited for about a month for it to arrive off back order and now I’m stuck with a product I can’t use.

Works for my 3b/c curls
I have low porosity, medium density 3b/c curls. I've been using gels from Ouidad and Deva gels without success. This mousse doesn't irritate my scalp and prevents frizz even in dry climates. The hold is soft - no crunch. Because of the soft hold and added moisture, I find that it helps to use clips for some lift while drying to add volume. I also love the scent... not overpowering and reminds me of my spa!

I'm still working on using the correct amount of this whip before styling my hair. I like to air dry my hair, so I like that it feels soft after applying and not crunchy. However, a lot comes out when you press the nozzle. I feel like my hair flattens quicker because I put on too much. Still giving it a try. It is a good match for the other Virtue curl products, so I'm not giving up yet.

My hair is curly but fine. The Curly Girl Method would classify my curls as “cherub curls”. Thus most curl enhancement products are too heavy for my hair. This is not.
