I lost a lot of hair from COVID and shed for about a year. Viviscal was recommended by my dermatologist and I can tell a difference with new hair growth and thickness. My dermatologist said it takes about six months for hair follicles to start growing again so it will take time. I reordered and got the 180 supply. Pills are easy to swallow as well.

I've been taking Viviscal for three weeks. I didn't expect to nor have seen any results this soon. What I do know is that I don't like how it tastes: I swallow the tablet quickly and cringe. Others' reviews were good so I'll finish the 90 day regime then post another review.

some new hair growth
I have been using the Viviscal Prof Supplements for about 4 months now. They say to use for 3-6 months initially. I have fine color treated hair with no damage and was hoping for a lot more hair to grow by now. I do think this supplement has improved the growth of hair around the top of my forehead area. Strange but this seems to make my hair a little more straight and silky but it looks very healthy. I also use the shampoo and the elixer but I mix this shampoo with another shampoo that I like better. I called Viviscal directly to ask some questions that were not clear in the instructions such as "take two tabs daily initially for 3-6 months" ?? I asked "what then"?? They advised to use for 6 months and if hair was improving with no problems then just take one time a day after that for as long as I want. I will continue to use this for the full 6 months to see how much improvement I get.

This seems to help grow more hair (but not necessarily longer)
After losing some hair due to a traumatic event, my dermatologist recommended trying this to re-grow what I lost. I did see more hair grow, so it looks like this is really working! My hair seems to be shedding at the same rate though, so it's not clear that I'll get the length back using this product.

Stopping Hair Loss
My Dermatologist recommended this supplement to me after I was complaining of more hair loss in my comb after a shower. I am almost 1 month in on this supplement and have no notable hair growth yet. I've been told to give it 3 months by my hairdresser who swears by the product, after a recommendation from her dermatologist for her genetic hair loss. The pills leave a fishy taste in your mouth if you don't wash them down with a full glass of water right away. Follow the directions to take them after a meal. They caused me stomach upset when I tried to take them first thing in the morning before I'd eaten.
