Does is actually thicken? I don't know. But it is a fabulous lightweight serum with a nice fragrance that is not sticky. Once dry, it is gently brush-able, and works with a heat-activated curling tool.

Not sure this does anything
I am 51 and have androgenic alopecia. I take the Viviscal Pro Pills (and I use Minoxidil AND spiranolactone) so I figured I'd "buy in" to the system. The serum is nice to tame frizz, but it does not seem to "thicken". Meanwhile it smells and feels nice and I will use up this bottle but likely not re-purchase.

Fine, can't tell the impact
It's a perfectly nice feeling product, has no weird smell etc. I have used it and just have no idea if it really did anything. Nothing is noticeably thicker where I use it most -- the front bang crown area. I take 2 tablets a day and those really have worked, along with a bio serum that I put into my scalp. That has helped close up the front bare spots. Would I buy it again? Meh, if it were part of a deal and at a discount, maybe. Just have a neither here nor there about it.

Because of my alopecia my hair is thin. My scalp is sensitive and I believe that this product is giving me acne on my scalp. The acne started shortly after I started using it, so I assume the cause is the product. I really wanted it to work :(

I have very fine, thin hair so I'm always looking for something that will help. This wasn't it. It did nothing to enhance the appearance or texture of my hair. Like most products, it takes months of consistent use to see any improvement in growth/thickness. This wasn't something I wanted to use for a long time. It made my scalp itchy and the fragrance wasn't appealing to me.
