While I have been using Skinceuticals CE Ferulic in the morning for years, but switching to Silymarin during the hot, humid months in Southern CA, I was anxious to try their new Cell Cycle Catalyst Skin Surface Renewal Serum for my combination skin. Used alone was too drying for my skin, so I started mixing the two together and I am definitely seeing a positive difference in a way that I did not expect. Because I use a 10%. magnification mirror, I am able to see changes in my skin that are not always easy to discern during the early stages of using a new product. While I still enjoy good skin in my 70’s, I was amazed to see that my 4 or 5 milia were starting to disappear and I was feeling a tightening effect that I normally only experience when I use my TNS Serum at night. As a rule, milia are very resistant due to product/oil buildup and usually require a trip to a dermatologist or aesthetician to clear them. Another positive is that I only use a little and it goes a long way. Like many products, we sometimes have to experiment when adding a new product to our regular routine. I remember that I hated when the TNS Essential Serum was replaced with the TNS Advanced Serum because it was extremely drying and everyone was raving about it, except me. As a result, it took me three separate times over a two-year period before I decided to give it one last try and started adding a small dab of Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2 4 2 after my serum. Within a week, my skin was no longer dry and a few months later, I was able to eliminate the moisturizer except during those cold dry spells during the winter. I would definitely recommend this combination to everyone because these results were under 6 weeks!

I wasn't sure if the cell cycle catalyst really did anything. But, stuck with it just to see. By the end of the bottle, skin definately looked younger and smoother, and glowing. Now I think I'm addicted!
