This is a nice foam that makes you feel like your face is getting clean (unlike the cream cleanser). I use a gentle exfoliating cleanser from another brand in the morning when I shower and the SkinCeutical Soothing Cleanser Foam at night. I don't wear makeup often so I'm not sure if it will remove makeup. I would probably remove makeup with Micellar water first.
