Review title is the best I could do without being overly critical; had to rate it 1 star because I couldn't post review otherwise. It smells like mildew, yes indeed. And I put some on a section of hair to see if it retained the smell, and yup, it did. That alone will keep me from using it, but I will also note it did nothing for style hold; limp noodle. And I can't return it because I previously returned a Glow Biotics cream oil that was runny & lackluster, along with 2 lipstick shades that were not even close (and I had gotten an opinion from a representative). So I'm out the money for this product. We really should be able to return unusable products that do not do what they say, or are not as described. I'm just being honest here.
