I’m glad I tried the travel size because I don’t think I will be investing in the larger sizes. I like the Luna oil but haven’t used long enough to notice the difference yet. Only have been using for 2 weeks. The Good Gene has a smell I don’t like. If you are wondering if it will work for you, try this size first but the items won’t last that long.

Good Genes is an incredible product and you actually get a good bit in the small trial size bottle that is included. Luna may be a wonderful product as well but I couldn’t get past the intense smell of wet tea bags and pot pourri. Definitely plan to buy a full size bottle of Good Genes now though! It immediately makes my skin look brighter and plumper and I don’t want to be without it!

I am glad SR offers these trial kits to make it possible to sample their products before buying a larger sizes. I learned that lactic acid Good Genes is not for me but Luna probably is, I tried replacing my BHA (salicylic acid) acne gel serum with Good Genes and started breaking out with mild adult acne right away, When I went back to the BHA serum, things settled down again, I should consider my self lucky that a moderately priced BHA product can control my acne so well, This is the second highly rated lactic acid product that I have tried with poor results so I guess I have BHA zits. I know that Good Genes has been near miraculous for others with cystic or hormonal acne so give it a try. I think Good Genes is a great product for those who just don't have a lot of time to fuss over their skin and respond to lactic acid. It is a good way to introduce AHA into your skin care routine if you have time to mess with AHA toners and cleaners. I have oily summer skin but Luna seems to be working out well for me when I am using my BHA serum. I will give the glycolic acid Good Genes version a try and see if it works better for me.

I was hesitant at first since I've never used oil on my face, but after a few nights of these my skin is so much smoother and blemishes are decreasing. All other retinol based products have made my skin dry and break out but this is just the opposite. Definitely worth the money in my opinion but this small size is great for travel or just to try to make sure you like it.
