After using this with its Bassu line shampoo during a month I still prefer the Surface Curls conditioner. I was expecting the same level (or even greater) of softness and bounciness but what I perceive is stronger/denser hair. I believe it makes hair healthier but it hasn't created a look nor feeling of moisturized hair. After rinsing I always end up applying leave in conditioner, hair serum or even coconut oil to add the moisture this product should have given me. Is wonderful to get more resilient hair strands but this conditioner was supposed to simultaneously moisture the outside of each individual hair. As with the shampoo you should be aware of its strong smell.

Very disappointed that the formula was not the same as it was thinner and did not moisturize as well. Now I am stuck with a large bottle of mediocre conditioner.
