I purchased the Surface Blowout Gel Mousse when my favorite Surface Char Gel Mousse was no longer available. I have super fine and thin hair and the Char Gel Mousse worked great. The Blowout Gel Mousse is a close second for me and I will continue buying it. It is slightly less volumizing than the Char Gel Mousse but if I use a small amount it works good. The only downside is the container size is smaller (5 oz vs. 8 oz) for the same price.
