The application was also a bit uneven and the coral color was really garish, bright and unflattering on my complexion (medium neutral). It was also pretty drying, which I know is the point of matte, but the uneven consistency in application and poor color choice are mostly why I'm giving it 2 stars.

To be hobest, I've never heard of this brand & decided to try it. It's actually a great Matte Lipstick while also providing "moisture." The colors are very pigmented and the color is long-lasting. Would recommended/buy again. The only thing I did not like is that it can become a bit "flaky" after eating, SO I wouldvrecommended moisterising before applying. I also added a translucent-matte powder on top of it which gave it a more "natural" apppearance and helped with flaking.

I love this liquid lipstick. It really does stay on for a long time wear and even stays put after eating and drinking. It might smear just a tap bit off a coffee lid but nothing big. Once you put it on and let it dry (set), your lips don't feel soft, but they don't feel rough or dry either. You can easily apply some lip balm or moisturizer if you'd like, but because I bought the matte finish, I don't and my lips are just fine.

I have bought several tubes of the balm lipstick, my favorite color is BAM! But it was not available when I was ordering. I am sorry to say that matte lipstick is not my favorite. I have never used matte lipstick; mainly because my lips are thin and I feel matte lipstick makes them look thinner. Other than that the lipstick went on nicely and it felt good, but I don’t think I would buy matte again.

I purchased the Light Mauve hoping for a neutral rose sort of shade, but it turned out much more tan/orange than I wanted, and more so than it appeared online. I've been using various brands of 'long-wearing' liquid lipstick for years and was interested in trying a better brand, but this didn't suit me at all. I may just be too old for a lipstick this matte to look good on me, but it was dry and icky. It looks ok if I just use a tiny, tiny bit and put something glossy over it, but then it doesn't last very long. Regret buying, but it may be fine for someone else.
