The UltradermMD gives you the power of microdermabrasion in an approachable device. It has five different modes that can all be accessed through its touchscreen, including one for beginners that guides you through the process step by step. Once you've become more comfortable with the UltradermMD, you can switch to manual mode for more options and treat your skin in just the way you want.
Key Features:
Includes:
1. Make sure your UltradermMD is fully charged.
2. Wash face with soap and water.
3. Press the Power button, and hear the motor cycle on for 2 seconds. You can now choose on of the 5 treatment modes.
4. Microdermabrasion Modes: Place a clean filter and the Diamond Tip on the wand.
AUTO MODE: This mode is excellent for beginners, as it will walk you through an entire treatment of each zone of the face and neck. Press the Auto button, and then press Start/Stop to begin the cycle.
The AUTO MODE will display the zone of the face to treat on the screen, along with a preset power level and a countdown timer. After the timer has run out, the screen will move you along to the next zone of the face. Treating your entire face, neck and chest takes just 5 minutes.
MANUAL MODE: (ADVANCED) To switch to Manual Mode, press the Auto button once more. You can now control the suction power level using the Up and Down buttons. We recommend switching to Manual Mode after you become comfortable doing UltradermMD Microdermabrasion Treaments.
SENSITIVE MODE: This mode is similar to Auto Mode but with gentler suction levels that is most suitable for sensitive skin.
PORES MODE: Remove the Diamond Tip, make sure you have a clean filter in place and place the Pore Extraction Tip on the wand. Using short, even strokes, gently move the Extraction Tip across the skin, paying particular attention to areas with clogged pores. Continuously glide the Extraction Tip. For your safety and comfort, never keep the tip still on one spot.
KINETIC MODE: Remove the Diamond tip, make sure you have a clean filter in place and place either the Large or Small Kinetic Tip onto the wand. The small tip is for the eyes, forehead and other more delicate or tighter facil areas). The large tip is for use on the cheeks, chin and neck (or more "fleshy" areas). Gently glide the Kinetic Tip across the treatment area as indicated. You wil want to allow 3-5 treatment pulses before moving to the next treatment area.
4. FOR ALL MODES: Brace the skin with your free hand, and place the tip flat against the skin. Using short, even strokes, move the diamond tip across your skin. You should feel the suction against your skin with each stroke.
If you are having trouble maintaining good contact with the skin, slow down each stroke and make sure that the tip is always flat against the skin. TIP: Don't Stroke more than 2-3 times in the same spot.
AFTER TREATMENT:
5. Gently slide off the diamond tip, and discard the black wool filter. Put a new filter in place immediately, and then push the diamond tip back in place.
6. Wash your face with cold water to remove any remaining debris, and gently pat dry. You may experience some redness and sensitive skin after your treatments, this is completely normal, and will usually subside within a few hours or by the next morning.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I only use manual exfoliation methods, and this is manual exfoliation but with much better results. I am so happy that I invested in this machine! I considered the less expensive one, but I really wanted the kinetic toning as well as the microdermabrasion. The first time I used it, I put it on sensitive mode since I didn't know what to expect, and I saw nice results with some temporary redness on my neck and chest. The second time I did it on auto mode, and I see noticeably more clear and smooth skin. I am thrilled! I've used the kinetic toning several times, since you are able to do that twice a day. It's basically electronic cupping, but with better results because there are many places on my face and neck where I can't get good suction with manual cups, but this device goes everywhere. I used the extraction once, and it works very well and combined with the microdermabrasion I see less "orange peel" look on my chin. One thing that surprised me was that the machine is actually pretty noisy, especially as you turn up the levels on the kinetic toning. It doesn't change my mind, but I wasn't expecting it. Also, the manual shows which direction to move the device in, but the screen on the machine doesn't exactly match the manual. I wish they'd fix that, but the diagram in the manual seems to make more sense. If you aren't getting suction, it's because you're not holding the tube flat against your skin. And change the filter every single time! I also purchased the body attachment, and it's done wonders on my scaly legs. I highly recommend this little spa that you can use whenever, wherever you want. (This one is portable because it's charged with a USB rather than plugged into the wall.)
