This one breaks my heart because I was a devoted consumer and fan of this sunblock for YEARS! I literally could not use anything else...my skin is so sensitive and prone to allergy. This was my hole grail but then they changed the darn formula! While I am grateful that they removed the chemical sunscreen that is bad for the coral reef, I am not happy that they changed the rest of the ingredients too. It's super greasy, sticky, and does not sit well or rub in. I tried to love it but alas, I hate it. I am now using a sunscreen from another brand and it's my new holy grail.

I was very excited to receive this VANICREAM SPF 50 and spent much time to decide which one to purchase on the website. After doing my due diligence I went with the Vanicream SPF 50. Although it does not have ingredients that may react with my sensitive skin I do not recommend this product as it is just too thick and "goopy". With so many wonderful sunscreens out there I would have to say this one will not be a repurchase. I may have to stick to my love for a different brand. Thank you for the opportunity.

The Vanicream zinc oxide sunscreen does leave a white cast but that's to be expected. It's much better for you and your skin than a chemical sunscreen so I can live with that. I do prefer the Vanicream over the Neutrogena mineral sunscreen because it's not as drying.
