I have pretty oily skin and this lotion definitely helps control the shine. My routine is to wash my face, apply this lotion, then apply my bb cream, and it keeps me pretty shine free and fresh looking through the day.

I live in New Orleans where the heat and humidity is intense in the summer. I find this works well to minimize my pores, reduce shine and prevent breakouts. I use it as a primer and only add water proof blush on top with tinted lashes, so mascara melt is not a problem in the heat.

Im 44 years old and find this product works nicely as a spot treatment on breakouts. Although this product is intended to be used as an all over face "serum" "preventive shine treatment", I found it too drying for me when I used it this way, hence my reason for the 4/5 stars. Perhaps for younger skin this can be used all over the face without excessive dryness. For me, its wonderful at clearing up an existing blemish without excessive dryness and irritation.

Definitely a five star product!! I use after my face serum is applied- and I only apply to my T-Zone. Even in my mid-Forties, I develop hormonal acne at times. I cant remember the last time I have had a break-out!! I do tend to have sensitive skin & this product has never caused me any redness or irritation. And I love the Mattifier effect!!! Wonderful product!!!
