Hold the applicator 2–4 inches away from dry, clean hair and then pump, directing the powder toward the root wherever volume is desired. Gently tousle with fingertips to add lift and evenly disperse powder.

It helps give my fine hair a lifting boost. Expecially days I haven't washed it. I wouldn't say this is one of virtues best products. I do love most of virtue products. This one just seems pricey for the amount and the small lift it gives.
