Ensure skin is clean and exfoliated. Do not moisturize or use moisturizing shower lotions prior to application. Use a tanning mitt and apply with circular movements. Use sparingly on hands, feet, knees and elbows. For the longest lasting tan apply 3 times, leaving each application to develop for 4-8 hours. Shower with water between applications.

The tanner claims about that it last for 2 weeks. It does last 2 wks,but even the darkest shade is barely visible second week. 3 time application is tough, because each time you can’t rinse it for min 4 hrs...No bad smell and dries quickly... this is more expensive version of santropez... For me it’s not great value for the result.

This tanner has a great color. It appears very natural. You do have to wash off in between applications. Once the layer drys it doesn’t feel like anything on your skin which I liked. The smell is pleasant. Definitely need to use a mitt for application or you will have green-yes green- hands. If you do not rinse each application off after the recommended time (4-8 hours) you will have streaking and any area of your skin that does get wet will result in the color washing off. Would say if you follow instructions like the bottle says it works pretty well. I didn’t give it 5 stars because my first bottle malfunctioned after the first use. BUT, my second bottle worked just fine. At most, I would say color lasted 10 days. Maybe 14, but not 3 weeks.

I am very fair in complexion and have a hard time finding time to get a spray tan. This entire bottle costs as much as a single spray tan and got me through about 8 events/weekends! You do have to be a little patient if you want your tan to last, as you need to layer it on 2-3 times. I exfoliate and put it on at night. Then, I shower the next morning and put it on before work. I sometimes do a third application if it needs to last longer, but I often don't need it. If I know that I won't sweat vigorously I've also put a layer on before a night out without washing it off. It doesn't have a strong spray tan scent and I've yet to see it rub off on my clothes. PLUS, it's good for your skin! Love it!
