A hair mask is like an ultra-rich conditioner that you use 1-2 times a week. While traditional conditioners help with hydration, masks take this to the next level with ultra-hydrating formulas that target a range of hair concerns.
Adding a mask to your routine can amplify your hair’s vitality. With a wide range of formulations available, you’ll find one for your top concern, whether that be dryness, frizz, color maintenance, damage or more. Hair masks are applied one to two times weekly to maintain results after a spa visit or to bring life back to limp, dull strands.
It’s as simple as swapping it out for your regular conditioner once or twice a week. First, shampoo your hair as normal. Then, apply the mask, focusing on the ends and midlengths. Rinse, then style your hair as normal.
It depends on the product itself. For best results, consult the product packaging. However, most hair masks should be left on the hair for about 5-20 minutes, then rinsed out.
