Watch as Dr. Joel Schlessinger and Chrissy unbox and discuss a new breakthrough anti-aging serum from SkinCeuticals.
In this edition of the LovelySkin unboxing series, Dr. Joel Schlessinger, board-certified dermatologist, cosmetic surgeon and Mohs surgeon and founder and CEO of LovelySkin and Chrissy Kersting, Director of Product Operations test and discuss the new anti-aging serum, SkinCeuticals P-TIOX Wrinkle Modulating Peptide Serum.
Throughout the video, Dr. Schlessinger and Chrissy discuss how this serum fits into a new product category known as needleless serums, which are formulated with specific ingredients that help provide similar effects as popular wrinkle relaxer injections like BOTOX®. Also versatile, it helps smooth the look of wrinkles on it’s own for those who don’t receive wrinkle relaxer injections.
This SkinCeuticals serum is formulated with an Advanced Peptide Complex, comprised of 2% Hexapeptide and 2% Dipeptide, which work in synergy to fight nine types of contraction lines like nasiolabial folds, glabellar wrinkles and marionette lines. In addition, a Glass Skin Complex, formulated with 5% PHA, 5% niacinamide, and 1% laminaria extract provides hydration, refines the look of pores, and reveals glass skin radiance in one week of use.
Throughout the rest of the unboxing, Dr. Schlessinger and Chrissy discuss their first impressions of the serum, how it can be used in conjunction with wrinkle relaxers and describe its texture and feel. Watch this unboxing to learn what they had to say.

Greetings. I use IS Clinical Active Serum in the morning and retinol at night. Will either interfere with this product or can I use them together? Thanks!

Hi, Tracey - Great question! You definitely can incorporate P-TIOX into this regimen as the ingredients are different and don't typically interfere with one another. You would apply your serums in order of thinnest to thickest and both before your retinol cream. Hope that helps! - Jill

I have used SkinCeuticals products for many years, and absolutely love them. I use the CE Feurlic and the Cell Cycle Catalyst. In what order should I use them in conjunction with the P-TIOX?

Hi, Cyndee - Thank you for your comment! P-TIOX is applied after your C E Ferulic Antioxidant Serum and then you apply your corrective serums in order of thinnest to thickest. Hope that helps! - Jill

Hi Monica! Great question! P-TIOX would be applied after your antioxidant (vitamin C) serum. Then, you would apply your corrective serums (this included Discoloration Defense and P-TIOX) from thinnest to thickest texture. Hope that helps! - Jill
