This makeup tutorial for those with light skin will show you how to warm up a fair skin tone to leave you with a radiant glow this winter.
At the height of winter, staying warm is a top priority, but sometimes you have to fake it till you make it. Watch this quick tutorial for adding a sun-kissed glow to fair skin . . .we promise it’s as easy as one, two, three!
1). Start with your regular foundation routine, applying primer, your favorite powder or liquid formula and a little concealer if needed. Then you’ll turn up the heat right away by grabbing a bronzer. If you’re especially fair, don’t be afraid to choose a powder foundation a few shades darker than your natural skin tone. This way, you’ll never have to worry about accidentally going too dark or looking orange. The shade Autumn in jane iredale PurePressed Base is perfect for Marie. Sweep it on your cheekbones, across your hairline and along your jaw with a fluffy brush.
2). Nothing says warm like rosy cheeks. For the perfect touch of pink, apply Youngblood Mineral Blush in Blossom to the apples of your cheeks, blending and diffusing the color. Careful—you won’t need a lot of this highly pigmented blush! You can always build up the hue if you feel you need a little more glow.
3). The glo minerals GloBrightening Highlight Concealer in Light is the perfect way to highlight your best features. For our look, Marie is applying tiny dots just above the bronzer on her cheekbones, then patting and blending with her finger for a natural look. She also adds it to the area just above her eyebrows for lifted and awake appearance.
4). Don’t let your lips do a disappearing act! We highly recommend picking up a lip gloss a few shades darker than the natural hue of your lips. The color will help balance your warmed-up cheeks and the glossy finish will draw even more light to your look. Marie’s pick is jane iredale PureGloss Lip Gloss in Raspberry.
That’s it! Super quick, super easy, and best of all, super toasty!
