Watch as we show you how to warm up deep skin tones for a warm winter glow.
If you’re shivering through the winter like us, every little bit helps. To finish off our winter warm-up series, Catie shows us how to add a toasty glow to deep skin tones!
1). Before going in with bronzer, you’ll want to complete your regular primer, foundation and concealer routine. This will help set the stage for your warmed up skin tone. Once you’ve got your skin looking even, grab Youngblood Mineral Radiance in the shade Sunshine. Pick up a little of the powder on a fluffy brush and sweep it along your cheekbones and across your hairline and jaw. This will help contour your face shape and brighten things up.
2). The second step is blush, of course! Youngblood Crushed Mineral Blush in Cabernet is a deep brownish-red that really stands out on deep skin tones. Take just a small amount on your brush and carefully sweep it on the apples of your cheeks. Remember, a little of this loose mineral blush goes a long way!
3). Now we’ll shed a little light on all the right places. Pick up glo minerals GloBrightening Highlight Concealer in Light and dab small dots just above your cheekbones and in the area above each eyebrow. Use your finger to gently pat and blend the color until you have no harsh lines. This will give your face an instant boost of radiance and make you appear more energized and awake.
4). Bonus step! Your lips will need a little extra oomph to balance out your warmed-up cheeks. We chose glo minerals GloLiquid Lips in Desire, a color two shades darker than Catie’s natural lips, to enhance her smile. The shiny finish helps reflect lighten and brighten up the over-all look.
With your toasty cheeks, you’re ready to glow places…even when it couldn’t be colder out!
