Quick and Easy St. Patrick's Day Makeup

Quick and Easy St. Patrick's Day Makeup!

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got an incredibly easy, super festive green and gold eye look for you to try. Have fun, and may the luck of the Irish be with you!

Step 1: Prime Your Eyes

You’ll never find gold without this crucial St. Patrick’s Day makeup step. In other words, priming your eyes will make all the vibrant colors in this look really pop. jane iredale Smooth Affair for Eyes in the shade Naked helps color stay in place and it adds just a touch of nude shimmer for depth. Mandi used the jane iredale Camouflage Brush to apply it evenly.

Apply primer

Step 2: Pot O’ Gold

To keep this look foolproof, we’re going with a wash of gold on the lids and just a touch of mossy green at the outer corners. Use the jane iredale Deluxe Shader Brush to sweep glo minerals Eye Shadow in Twinkle across the entire lid, blending at the edges so you don’t have any harsh lines. Next, pat jane iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow in Forest onto the outer corners of the lids using the jane iredale Small Fluff Brush. Use this same blush to sweep inward, blending the green into the gold. With just a dab of Forest, lightly dust the brush along the lower lash line for definition.

Apply shadows

Step 3: Add More Green

A pop of emerald is all you need to tie the look together. Line the upper lash line, creating a small wing if you’d like. You can also brighten the lower lash line with the pencil if you wish. Top your look off with a coat or two of your favorite mascara on the top and bottom lashes and you’re ready to party.

Apply liner

When it comes to the cheeks, we recommend pairing this look with a natural-looking peach. Try glo minerals Cream Blush in Fig. For lips, anything goes. Mandi is going bold in glo minerals Suede Matte Crayon in Bombshell. For a more neutral shade, try glo minerals Suede Matte Crayon in Trademark.
