This mousse is very lightweight and gives my hair a soft hold. It doesn't leave it sticky/stiff, just enough for my hair. I can see maybe mixing it with a stronger mousse or gel for a stronger hold if that's what you desire. This also somehow feels moisturizing in my dryer hair. My hair has been turning gray during the last two years. It seemed healthy so I never considered adding a violet treatment to my routine. Recently I changed to a new hair stylist which strongly recommended including a violet shampoo on a weekly basis. He patiently explained that even while my hair is healthy its real "color/shade/tone" is being altered by pollution+dirt accumulated on my gray/white individual strands. I was unaware of this issue because is the first time I'm dealing with gray hair. I purchased this product because Surface is my haircare brand. After more than a month using it my hair has a different "color". My stylist was right and it has been very interesting to discover that even while looking nice my hair was covered with "invisible" buildup. For me it has been safe to use this shampoo on a weekly basis. I procede with my regular Surface conditioners, therefore, I can't comment on the result when paired with the violet conditioner as I haven't purchased it. No issue with fragrance, doesn't stain anything, hasn't made my hair dryer, and has a fair price. It has a deep purple color and thick consistency; due to the latter a littler goes a long way. I believe it deeply clean and clears each hair strand without stripping the natural oils. Since I began using it every time I blowdry my hair people compliment my "shade of gray". I recommend it for natural gray hair.

Trinity Protein Cream feels nice on my hair. I believe it adds a bit of shine and makes for an easier combing through my hair. However, the product does not dispense from the bottle through the sprayer. The sprayer is useless. Instead, I must remove the sprayer, turn the bottle upside down, and try to shake some of the contents in the palm of my hand, which I find annoying and taking extra time. A better design is needed for the distribution of the product. The sprayer is a “a miss.”
