I had been using a different brand of micellar water for a few years but sadly it's been discontinued. So I ordered the two-pack on sale of Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water. It works well to remove my tinted moisturizer and non-waterproof mascara, although it does take several small cotton rounds. The only thing I don't like is how it dispenses--I'm used to the dispenser top where you flip open the top, push down with a cotton pad to dispense; this has a flip-top where you turn the bottle over to dispense the micellar water--it comes out faster than I would like. Other than that, the price was great and I will enjoy using it as a makeup remover before washing my fast.

I have been using this every night before cleansing to remove my foundation. It works great and is gentle on my sensitive skin. On nights where I am especially lazy I will just use a little more of this on a couple more cotton pads to remove all traces of foundation. It doesn’t fully remove my waterproof foundation (I need a cleansing oil or balm for that) but it removes everything else. I love this stuff and am glad I bought the two bottle pack.

It does an excellent job of removing makeup and sunscreen but I find that my skin feels too dry and tight afterward. After a couple of weeks my skin became increasingly more irritated so I discontinued using it. Wish I had found this years ago as it is more effective and much more cost efficient than the dedicated eye makeup removers I have used over the years! When I travel, I just put some in a smaller travel container as the bottles are too large and heavy to travel with, in my opinion.
