2-Minute Reveal Masque: Once or twice a week after cleansing, dry skin thoroughly. Apply a dollop of masque about the size of a quarter to face and jawline. Using dry fingertips, gently massage masque in a circular motion for 20 seconds or less depending on skin sensitivity. Avoid eye area. Wait 2 minutes. With moistened fingertips, massage until crystals are completely dissolved. Rinse face thoroughly. Follow with 24/7 Barrier Repair Cream.
Barrier Balance Cream: Twice daily after cleansing, place 3-4 pumps of cream onto fingertip. While skin is still moist, lightly massage with fingertips over entire face, neck and décolleté. Avoid eye area. Wait 30 seconds then apply 8-in-1 BioSerum.
8-in-1 BioSerum: 30 seconds after applying 24/7 Barrier Balance Cream, place 2 pumps serum onto fingertip. While skin is still moist, lightly massage with fingertips first around eyes, then over entire face, neck and décolleté. Follow with sunscreen. Effective for all skin types, ages, and ethnicities.

I bought this kit as a trial to see how my sensitive, oily, acne prone skin would handle these and if I would notice any difference with such a small amount of product. These products are pretty pricey and I hate spending money on stuff that irritates and breaks out my skin. I have used the 8 in 1 serum before and liked it but I wasn’t completely sold on it, probably because I hadn’t tried it the way it was intended to be used (with the barrier cream). Anyway I had been struggling with oily irritated skin that was breaking out and thought what do I have to lose? I washed my face with my normal cleanser and put the barrier cream and serum on and went to bed. Next morning I wasn’t as oily and my pores looked smaller. I decided to do the same routine and then put my makeup on, by the end of the day I was less oily and my pores still appeared smaller. I have used this for 3 days consecutively and the existing acne is healing up quickly and my oil production is way down. That’s reason enough for me to keep using this line. I also used the mask and will be adding it to my routine once I run out of my current enzyme mask. The DefenAge enzyme mask doesn’t cause redness for me like other enzyme masks do and it’s really easy to use. I am excited to see the anti aging benefits these products offer after consistent, long term use but right now I am thrilled that they have helped balance my oil production and shrink my pores. It’s also nice to be able to simplify my skincare routine.

The moisturizer is fantastic as well, but I would purchase the fragrance-free version, as the trial kit includes one that has a fairly strong scent. The flash mask included works extremely well - almost too well for sensitive skin. I keep that one for use when my skin feels dull, which isn't often. If you want to really reveal new skin, I absolutely recommend it.

I ordered 5 of the “travel size “ kits , which should have added up to enough product to see some sort of difference in my skin. I ‘ve been dying to try it based on claims. Of the three products included, only one was effective in (slightly) improving my aging skin., the barrier cream. The star of the 3 - “8 in 1 bio serum”, was the smallest tube at .13 fluid ounce. Five times .13 is .65 fluid on. This should have been enough, but only 1 of these small tubes seems to have this amount of product. The other tubes, barely had anything.it was very inconsistent. The 2 minute reveal may have been old, as it was not effective at exfoliating and revealing new skin. Overall, a disappointment! Not sure if will ever purchase again.
