STEP 1: PREP
To prepare the skin for DERMAFLASH, first cleanse the surface of your skin with PREP cleanser. Wipe clean and gently pat dry. This will ensure a clean, dry surface for optimal results.
STEP 2: EDGE
Insert a new Edge into your DERMAFLASH. Start the treatment in front of your ear at the top of the cheekbone. With your free hand, hold your skin taught and using short, feathery strokes glide DERMAFLASH inward towards nose over the contours of your cheek and entire side of your face. Continue with the same light feathery strokes on the chin, below and above the lip and finish with the forehead. Avoid the eyelid, eyebrows, hairline, sides of the nose and lips. The blue silicone pad on the side is intended to stay in contact with your skin throughout use to maintain the correct angle. The treatment takes about 5 to 10 minutes. DO NOT go over any facial area more than once. For safety and ultimate efficacy a new Edge must be used each time.
STEP 3: SOOTHE
To care for your skin after treatment, apply a thin layer of Soothe hydrator all over your entire face. Soothe is specially formulated to help keep skin soft and smooth.

First of all, it is annoying that you can’t remove then replace the same blade after inserting it and discovering device isn’t fully charged. The blades are expensive, and I don’t like having to purchase the whole kit when I only need the blades. The device is convenient for removing dead skin and fine hairs but doesn’t come close to professional dermaplaning.

Dermaflash helps remove not only the hair, peach fuzz, from your face but also helps exfoliate the top layer of your skin. I try to use the Dermaflash very two weeks and then follow with a soothing masque. My skin always looks refreshed and feels so soft. You have to use a magnifying mirror and be very gentle and careful while using the device. It cannot cut you badly but it can scrape the skin. You must charge the device first before putting in the blade cartridge. You have to use a new cartridge each time you use the Dermaflash so it can get expensive. I would have given it 5 stars if the cartridge refills were not so expensive.

The Dermaflash system works great. This review is for the replacement blades. They work really well, but I wish I didn't have to order the whole kit just to get the blades. It seems to be a gentler way to remove facial hair versus a standard facial hair razor. I love the way my skin looks and feels minus the peach fuzz. I really think it improves my makeup application.
