This product is packaged with an airless pump dispenser, which uses a vacuum system to dispense the product. EltaMD intentionally overfills items with airless pumps in anticipation that a small amount may leak in transit, especially in hot weather and/or during air travel. They do this in order to make sure that the entire amount of product is in the jar, even if a small amount leaks.
