Frankly, both of these moisturizers have a similar texture. The pomelo is thick, moisturizing and not at all greasy. It actually leaves a sort of matte finish, as does the green tea version. The green tea side is a bit lighter and thinner, but again, very similar. The pomelo has a very heavy tropical fruit scent. It is not a sweet scent, a bit more sharp. The scent lingers on your skin for quite a while. The green tea version has a different scent, not as strong. To me, it smells like tea tree, but sweet with some fruity notes to it. This scent does not linger.

I have combination skin type with frequent breakouts in the T-zone. I use this before bed and was worried that it would be a little heavy but it has not been and I have not noticed an increase in breakouts. I have not had cystic acne since using this product. There is not a fragrance to the lotion which I do miss because I love the smell of so many of the Eminence products.
