I have very fair skin and this allows me to apply in sheer layers to avoid the clown look. It also lasts all day. I purchased the color Balmy hoping for a berry mauve, but on my fair, cool olive skin, it pulls more reddish and appears warmer and not as subtle as I hoped. It isn't bad-just not what I wanted and there aren't any other options for me to try in this formula since all the other colors appear very warm except for Mist, and that has too much shimmer.
