This is my second bottle of La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Dark Spot Serum. My first purchase was from a local pharmacy. I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Dark Spot Serum for 5 months now, and I’m starting to see noticeable improvements in my skin’s overall appearance. The serum is designed to lighten dark spots and even out skin tone, and it does exactly that—albeit gradually. At first, I didn’t notice dramatic changes, but after consistent use, my dark spots have definitely started to fade. The formula contains Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), which is known for its brightening properties, and it works in tandem with other ingredients to gently reduce the appearance of pigmentation. The serum has thicker texture but it absorbs quickly into the skin, which I love. It feels refreshing and leaves my skin feeling soft. There is no heavy fragrance, which is a huge plus for sensitive skin like mine. Patience is key with this product—it doesn’t deliver overnight results, but the gradual improvement over time is worth the wait. If you’re looking for a product that can address hyperpigmentation with consistent use, I’d highly recommend giving this serum a try.

The product applies nicely to my skin. But, I haven’t noticed any clarity to my sun spots. I spend a lot of time in the sun during summer months and pay for it dearly on my skin. I am searching for a product to help dim my sun damage. And do not think this is it.

Improves Texture

I’m 56 with dry, sensitive skin. This has improved my skin’s texture quite a bit. Fine lines have diminished and dark/age spots are lighter. Some reviewers said this is drying.
