So I mistakenly wrote my review for the shampoo in the review for the Enhancing Treatment. So, in fairness, I will write my review for both here. The shampoo: I have tried a variety of shampoos in this genre, and this is one is smack dab in the middle. It didn't wow me, but I didn't hate it either. The pros: it did tone down the brass and it didn''t dry my hair out (as can often be the case with "purple" shampoos). The cons: it has a chemically sort of smell, and it''s a tad expensive for the amount you get. All in all, I''m still searching for the perfect shampoo and conditioner to keep the brass away, but unti I find something better, I think I might just keep using this one. The "Enhancing Treatment": I actually thought I was purchasing the conditioner that accompanied the shampoo but I guess I had a senior moment and mis-selected. Anyhow, the enhancing treatment is underwhelming. I am not sure what it does above and beyond the conditioner since I didn't actually purchase the conditioner, but it's probably unfair to compare. That said, the treatment has the same sort of chemically smell as the shampoo, and you get even less of it than the shampoo. On the bright side, it doesn't leave my hair dry or brittle which is something I have experienced after using anti-brass treatments from various other brands.
