Very good cleanser. I have rosacea and also sometimes get eczema so having ultra-sensitive skin is something I understand! This is the only cleanser other than a microfiber cloth that doesn't make my skin react so it's definitely gentle. It does not remove makeup, so it's more of a morning cleanser or a nighttime second cleanser (after makeup removal). The only downside I can think of is the packaging is not environmentally friendly. If you have ocular rosacea that can tolerate tea tree oil, I recommend mixing this cleanser with a couple of drops and washing your eyelashes with the mixture, it's great.

This has been my gold-standard since I found it in a pharmacy in Montreal, maybe 20 years ago. If one has really sensitive skin, it won't cause a reaction - at least in my long experience using it. I have never used it without rinsing with warm water. In severe cases of sensitivity, Avene states it can be used as a facial wash that can be just tissued off. But cannot speak to that aspect, as I only rinse with water. And pat dry with towel.
