Gentle yet effective!
I had been using .05% px tretinoin for many years, but wanted to try something a little gentler to use on the neck/décolletage. This Avene product had great reviews so I decided to try it. So far, it seems to be effective and very gentle. I love all Avene products and will keep purchasing this one especially during a LovelySkin sale.

Effective, not harsh
The Avene RetrinAL uses retinaldehyde, different form of retinol, which is more effective as well as easier on the skin. I like the results and that my skin doesn’t get irritated from it.

Avene RetrinAL 0.1 is nice anti-aging cream which does not leave a sticky feeling and is absorbed completely. I have a very sensitive, rosacea skin but this is very gentle cream.

Worth every penny
This retinal came recommended by a derm on YouTube. It's beautiful on the skin and goes a very long way. I've finally finished my first bottle. I use gloves to apply and do a pump around my lips, 1 each around my eyes, 1 for between my brows, 1 for my neck and 1 for the chest area. I use this every night now and it WORKS! Also tried the Avene spf 50 intensive protect sunscreen which I use every single day on its own with nothing underneath. It's the bomb for sunscreen. Very moisturizing. At first it was too much but I patted the excess off with a tissue. Try Avene it's so worth it your time!!!

I only gave it 4 stars because I’ve only been using it for 1 month and I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin. However, it is very gentle even for sensitive skin like mine. I apply lotion right after to prevent drying. I plan to keep using this product every night. I like how it absorbs right into my skin.

Good alternative to Tret
Although this will take a bit longer than Tret to show results, with patience and consistency it does work and without any irritation. Can be used each PM. A good next step if you’ve been using Retinols but want a little more punch. Only complaint is the cream is a bit thick but does blend in without residue.

Retrinal 0.1
I started using Retrinal about a week ago and so far doing well. My skin is very sensitivity and I cannot us any retinoid products because I immediatly turned red and burning. With Avene Retrinal 1% I have not experience any of those symptoms. My skin is a little dry but I'm applying Tolerance cream a few minutes after applying Retrinal.

This is my first Avene product I've ordered. I started using it every other day as directed on my face/neck area. It's works beautifully however, after one month the product was empty! At $74.00 a bottle this seems very $$$ for a one month supply?
