I bought both fair and medium (I am NC25) and found that I am right in the middle of these two shades. For now I will blend the two together, but in the future I will just go with fair because it is slightly more natural looking than medium. The under tones were a perfect match, warm but not orange. I have found that in order to avoid streaks and minor cakeyness, rather than applying all of the SPF you will need at once, apply in a couple of thinner layers. The final result is a smooth, natural-luminous finish. Now that I understand how to work with this formula, I really love it.

Not only is this a sunscreen I don’t have to wear any foundation when I use this product. It feels thick at first then it seamlessly blends into my skin making it look smooth and beautiful, I apply a little powder on top and just walk out the door with great looking skin.

This is a sunscreen that definitely feels more like a foundation/skin tint. I am normally an NC30 in mac and chose the shade medium and it was perfect for me. It goes on white but as you rub it in, it adjusts to your skin tone. This feels like it has coverage to me a little bit, so far I've been able to replace my foundation with it and feel like it looks the same. I top it off with an spf powder. Reapplying it is not my favorite though, as it does feel like you are reapplying foundation - it's a much thicker texture than other sunscreens I've tried. Sometimes I actually use a brush to reapply to avoid getting it all over my hands. Overall, it worked great for the reason I purchased it - which was to replace my foundation in the summer. I wouldn't use this every day though. I have others that I prefer for every day that feel lighter on the skin. I would definitely repurchase this!

I LOVE the coverage this provided and matte finish. I loved the Colorscience glow version but in summer it made me a bit shiny with sweating. This was a fabulous substitute for summer!! Don’t have to use makeup. Bought both medium and tan (afraid they would sell out!! :)) I can do medium now but just slightly light. Tan is perfect for now while I’m darker tanned (despite heavy spf - I am darker skin tone). I will maybe mix a bit with medium as it transitions to fall/winter.

Amazing sunscreen
This is the best sunscreen that I have tried so far and I’ve tried DOZENS!!! I don’t have to wear foundation at all with this sunscreen and I have pretty bad melasma. It covers the hyperpigmentation areas well and leaves the texture of my skin flawless. I couldn’t be happier.

The first time I used this product as a sunscreen (Applied 1/4tsp) I thought it looked too heavy and makeup-y, but when I applied it over another sunscreen, I really liked it. Works well with my oily, acne-prone skin
I have been using this for about a month now and like it a lot. I have oily/acne-prone skin and am very sensitive to new products. This doesn't break me out! I love that it's medium to full-coverage. On days when I only have 5min to get ready, this has replaced my foundation and gives me that glowy, no makeup, makeup look. I ordered the medium and it matches perfectly to my tan, yellow undertone skin. Why I knocked off a star... -This isn't transfer-resistant. I usually set it with my powder and it stays put when I don't have a mask on. With a mask, it'll rub right off and you'll need to reapply. -It has a heavy feeling. I can feel it sit on top of my skin which may bother most people especially if you live in a hot, humid climate. -It will cling onto dry patches.

Adjusting
New to Sunforgettable Face Shield, so started with Bronze and Glow. Thought I would try Flex to see if it were better and worth the extra $6. After trying Flex (Tan), I can honestly say I prefer the others. Flex needs to be rubbed between your fingers before applying and turning into the tinted color I expected. In doing so, it gets all over the sides of my fingers, etc. and is, therefore ,messier and trickier to apply. It is also runnier, and stays “wet” feeling after application. This tint is a little too dark for me. I think my tone is a blend of Bronze and Glow, but I can get away with wearing either and it looks fine/sets up smooth.

A bit too oily for my combination skin. It was fine the first hour and then I felt the need to wash my face. Interesting concept and I am sure a good sunblock hit the color is too yellow for me. I did not care for the glow either so now I have two products I won’t wear. I will stick with the original and the Matte.

I love this brand and couldn't wait to try this new sunscreen! It is mineral, SPF 50 and PA ++++! It really is a great formulation. It didn't spread on my face as smoothly as expected however, and created immediate flakiness wherever my skin was slightly dry. The Fair color was too light, and the next shade, Medium, was too dark (that's a lot of $ spent to not be able to use on my face!). I think this may be excellent for someone with normal to oily skin who is looking for more coverage in a sunscreen and can find a suitable shade.
