I've been looking for an easy way to incorporate rice water into my routine without having to soak it myself. Viola! Enter this powder. I pour some out into my hand, add my cleanser/face wash, rub my hands together to lather up and wash my face for a minute or more. I'm not fond of physical exfoliation and this powder does have some grit, but it feels gentle and I don't rub hard. After I'm done with my face, I rub whatever is left on the back of my hands. My hands and face are smoother as a result. I've always had good skin, but I do notice an extra clarity. So glad to have found this!

I was incredibly surprised at how well this worked after only my first use. It was my first time using a product like this (an exfoliating powder you make into a paste in your hands) and the results were amazing. My skin was easily the smoothest it's ever been after just the first use. I regularly use Dermalogica's daily resurfacer and they work well to slowly brighten and moisturize skin, but they haven't done as much to smooth it. I first received a sample of Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant and was very surprised how gentle this exfoliant is on my very sensitive skin. I massage the product in my hands first with water to help dissolve some of the particles and rinse with my hands, not a washcloth.
