This moisturizer has a very unique texture, thin but creamy, with an almost slippery feel to it. It is really moisturizing, and leaves a slight shiny film on your skin. It could have been perfect had they not added a heavy floral perfumed scent to it. The scent does linger on your skin long after you apply it.

This was my second purchase of Elemis and I’ve really been enjoying both the pro collagen marine cream and this Peptide4 night recovery cream oil. It is light weight but delivers a lot of moisture! I love products with peptides as I can always see a difference in tightening and plumping when I use them. As another reviewer said, it does not sit on top of the skin. My skin drinks up the nutrients overnight, and I wake up looking refreshed with a nice glow. I’ve not experienced those full effects from other higher end night creams. I’ve never liked any product with fragrance, but both of these products have just the most amazing smell ever! Very light. I only deducted 1 star because it says not to apply around eyes and I really wish it was ok to do so as I expected to be able to apply it under my eyes to reduce and prevent fine lines. However, I will be trying more of their fine products including their eye products.

This product has been perfect as the last step after I use my neck and décolletage firming cream from revision. I needed something to amp up the moisture and this was the perfect complement to my firming cream. It is not greasy but feels hydrating, soft and luxurious. I use it both morning and night, although it labels itself as "night recovery." I live in Arizona, so extra moisture in the hot dry summer is a necessity.
