Not the greatest
I have combination skin that tends to be sensitive. With the colder weather my skin has become much dryer so I decided to purchase this product thinking that it would help. Unfortunately it did not do much for my skin to help the moisture, even when combined with hyaluronic acid and a face oil. On a positive note, I do believe that it would be great for others with sensitive skin, as it is non-irritating and does not have a scent.

Very disappointed with this product. I have very dry and sensitive skin. This cream burns when it is applied and has not improved the hydration or quality of my skin in anyway. I will definitely not purchase again!

Makes my skin burn
I was really looking forward to this product since I believe my skin barrier can use some repairing. Unfortunately this burned my skin when I put it on and the feeling stays on my skin for a bit after. I love how lightweight it feels and it does feel hydrating but it burns my skin and I feel I have to layer a more gentle and nourishing moisturizing on top of this so it seems like a waste of money to me unfortunately. I love EltaMD products so hopefully I can find a substitute daily moisturizer that works better for my skin.

Too irritating to finish
I used this moisturizer in the day only for a few months. When I tried it at night, I woke up with irritated eyes from the product's migration while I slept. Daytime use resulted in adequate hydration; however, the actives in this product (bromelain and fruit enzymes) made my skin tingle and occasionally reacted (i.e. caused more irritation) with other products. I ended up throwing out the container before I had finished it (six months after purchase). It was not nearly as good as two other moisturizers I tried in the past year (since I realized that my favorite was being discontinued). For reference, I am ~40 with normal-to-dry skin that loves squalane and does not break out, except from shea butter.
