This is a nice oil free cleanser that is effective & doesnt bother my skin. The only reason why I didnt give it the full 5 star rating is because I feel that its not as effective as a cleanser as the foaming cleanser. However, it is a wonderful cleanser when my skin is sensitive/reactive or following a procedure. When my skin is not feeling so sensitive then I go back to the foaming cleanser.

I bought this to try it after buying the foaming cleanser. After using this one I have to admit I do prefer the foaming cleanser over this one. This one has the smell of lemons or something along the lines of a citrus note. Ill use it until it is done, but Ill be buying the foaming from now on.

I am very pleased with this product. My face felt very clean, no residue, and fresh. It did sting my eyes a little the first time or two that I used it but once I was aware of that I had no further problems. I was more careful to rinse well before opening my eyes and it was fine. I am considering trying the foaming version next time. I received a sample of the foaming cleanser and I am thinking one may not have to use as much product. This is the first time I have used EltaMD so might try a different version to get more familiar with my options.

Im over 60 and I dont wear makeup. I have rosacea, sensitive skin,and very dry eyes. I have had some rosacea around my eyes. Since Ive hit my mid 40s my skin has started to change. My face has always been on the oily side & prone to something between a breakout and a rash, but now cleansers are giving me dry skin, mostly around my mouth, chin & nose. Iv been using Elta MDs Clear Zinc 46 Sunscreen and it has been wonderful, very minimal breakouts and very little shine. So I thought the cleanser might be work as well, but for me no. It also caused drying, less than some of the other cleansers Ive tried but still drying. Sadly, my quest for the right cleanser continues.

Good cleanser for sensitive skin
This is a good cleanser for sensitive skin. A little goes a long way, and it removes makeup well. It doesnt remove eye makeup that well, but it also doesnt irritate the sensitive eye area. Works well with my Clarisonic for a deep clean and exfoliation. I use a prescription retional, and have had no adverse effects.

good makeup remover
i have oily skin and wear powder foundation....this made my face feel very clean. it did sting my eyes a lot...i did not rub it over my eys, but getting close was enough to cause stinging and redness. this did not happen with the elta foaming cleanser, so im assuming im just allergic to an ingredient in this one. great for sensitive skin as a regualr cleanser, for my skin it was great to remove makeup as a first cleansing. * i mistakenly put this review in for the foaming cleanser....with the foaming one i needed a lot less product to cleanse with, and that did not sting my eyes, but it wasnt as good at removing makeup.

Irritated skin and eyes
Ive been curious about this cleanser because I love the EltaMD UV Clear Sunscreen so much. The cleanser does well at cleaning my face, but unfortunately, the orange oil irritates both my eyes (even though I male sure to avoid my eyes while washing) and my sensitive skin. I wish they made the cleanser fragrance free.
