Most effective sunscreen out there and its cosmetically elegant too
I have been an EltaMD fan for years. Finally! they have delivered a 20% zinc oxide formulation. This is so important because this is the most effective formulation, per dermatology research papers. Because I have Latino skin, I mix the untinted version of this Glow sunscreen with the tinted version. The blend gives me a perfect color match to my skin. I finish up with a brushing of foundation powder or any other mineral powder to set my sunscreen and off I go. FYI - I believe the EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 gives the most cosmetically elegant result but its coverage is poor relative to ones with 20% zinc oxide.

EltaMD Glow for me was not a hit in my book. For me it went on to thick for my taste. It does what it says, but it goes on white. It does sink into your sink. I just do not like it. I tried another product of theirs, because they never disappoint, but I like my old time favorite.

I love this. It provides enough coverage (with a tad of concealer) to serve as the base of my casual makeup look. It's very thick but leaves a lovely sheen and it feels good on my skin. It also has an odd smell but I can get past that, especially since it doesn't last. I have fair/medium skin and the shade is pretty forgiving but probably wouldn't work on a much lighter or much darker skin tone.

Love EltaMD SPF Products
I love every EltaMD product I have tried over many years and I also love the fact that it is one of the most consistently recommended spf lotions by dermatologists wherever I go. I like this one because it is mineral-based and many of the other formulas out on the market have been recalled because of toxicity concerns. This one goes on a little thicker than the other Elta products I have used and leaves more of a white sheen which I have to work at to get absorbed. I realize it is a common problem for many mineral-based formulas but I have had others that aren't quite as white.

I had been using ELTAMD 46 for sensitive skin for years but wanted to eliminate silicon from my products. Silicon tends to pill on my neck and face. And I don’t use any face make up. This sunscreen provides great protection though does not spread quite as easily without silicon (minimal difference). I mix my face serum in with this sunscreen and love the glow. Great improvement!

I read the reviews on this product after I had tried a sample and I have to say I disagree with those who complained about it being too hard to rub in the product and leaves a whitish tone to one's skin. I find that it really helps even out the tone of my skin and helps to illuminate it. Once applying your foundation it gives a nice smooth appearance and a glow. I like the glow look to it, however it is more thick and stickier than the UV clear tinted formula. I like it for the summer months when I won't be wearing any other make up. It is definitely thicker to wear under masks and other makeup however. It was great to try but I think I will go back to using the other formula with a higher SPF too.

I actually wore it for an entire beach vacation and treated it as a light foundation. It is really that good!
