Great protector lips!
Elta MD SPF 36 Lip is a great product and I plan to always have some on hand. I gave it 4 stars because it does leave a white cast. I use another brands’s lip sunscreen if I am going to social events since it is clear. unfortunately ithe other brand doesn’t have as high a SPF and is not as hydrating as the Elta MD lip balm.

Great for long days outdoors
This is the SPF lip balm I grab when I’m going to be outdoors all day! It leaves my lips feeling hydrated and protected. It can feel a little gritty initially and has a white cast until you rub your lips together, but the balm melts into your lips fairly quickly.

It's great, except for one thing.
This lip balm works really well to keep my lips moist. I like that the zinc oxide is colorless. The thing that I don't care for is that it is not easy to apply. I can't dispense it directly on my lips. I need to place a little on my finger and then spread it onto my lips. I do recommend this product and will be purchasing it again.

A little goes a very long way. I just wish it was a little bit thicker in consistency. Not sure how much needed to get spf protection per packaging. Lips feel good using. Best SPF for lips I’ve found yet. EltaMD UV Daily tinted is my holy grail for face and neck. Worth the $$$

Nice feel but not long lasting
I purchased the Elta MD UV Lip Balm to have a sunscreen on my lips. It goes on smoothly but does not last long on my lips. Usually, I like Elta MD products, but, I don't think I'll buy this again.

This is one of the best lip sunscreen products I have tried. It does not have any harmful ingredients and like so many others, it does not dry out my lips. It does leave a white cast if applied too thick, so definitely needs to be thoroughly rubbed in to avoid this which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Good sun protection
I've used EltaMD sunscreen on my face and arms for years, and was excited to try this lip balm. I really appreciate the sun protection as I burn easily and the balm lasts quite a while. I think it does leave a little bit of a whitish cast to your lips when applying it, but it's sheer and doesn't bother me.

Great UV lip balm for outdoors
I use this lip balm when I surf in the blazing sun. Work really well, the only issue is the white color when you first put it on. Trick is to put on a thin layer and spread really well. Great product for the outdoors!
