Wonderful hydrating!
I have purchased this multiple times after an esthetician recommended it to me. I don't know how it works but it is so hydrating and keeps my mature skin happy. I tried the Neroli toner this past order and while I like it - I find the birch water much more hydrating and will go back to using it when the Neroli is gone.

My first essence purchase
I tried this as a sample and purchased the full size. I jumped onto the Eminence bandwagon, and watched a bunch of their videos and decided to take the advice to use a toner after cleansing (love the stone crop!) and then an essence to add hydration etc without another layer that would pill. I tried some of the others from this brand that serve this same role but really prefer this one. The whole forest line is really good.

If you have a little money this is a nice addition to your serious skin care routine. I have very sensitive skin and there’s no irritation. I use the eminence balm first then follow up with the water.

I have no idea how this really works or what it does but I notice that my skin is better when I use it. It seems to provide some sort of moisture balancing, and I feel like it acts like a toner by getting things off my skin that may not have come off when I washed. I know it's not supposed to do that but it does. I thought was gimmicky and didn't use the free bottle that I was sent for a long time, but once I used it, I have now refilled twice and don't want to go without it. I don't normally write reviews but this stuff is good. For reference, I have oily/normal skin, 40s, Caucasian.

If you're wanting a toner that leaves skin feeling fresh, soft & hydrated you might want to try this. After several months of use this is now a product I won’t go without. I tried samples first. Hydrating and Toning
The Eminence Organics Birch Water Purifying Essence is hydrating and toning. It really does do what it says it will do! I gave it four stars instead of five because the fragrance isn't as delightful as I would like for it to be. It isn't bad--it's earthy and fades quickly. I will continue to use and purchase it even though I have to hold my breath while using it because it is an amazing essence!!!

I don’t feel that the Birch Water Purifying Essence is as good as the newer Kombucha Microbiome Essence. I am sensitive and the Birch Water wasn’t as soothing as the Kombucha. If your not sensitive, then I would go for it.
