Great product - terrible packaging
I use only epionce and love the whole line. I finally decided to splurge and treat myself to the intense defense serum. From my limited use I think it’s a great product however the packaging is terrible. After a couple of days no product would come out. I tried all the tips to prime it with no avail. Looking over the reviews it seems I'm not the only one with this issue. LovelySkin took great care of me with their fantastic customer service so no worries there. I hope epionce revamps the packaging/pump so I can feel good about purchasing this product again in the future.

The serum feels divine......its container is the problem
I have bought the serum twice now and both times there is a problem with the bottle with the serum inside. Evidently, the pump falls apart with time. I have to take the top off and pour a small portion of the serum into my hand to use. Very disappointing. I do not think I will buy it again even though I love the serum.

I received this as a sample and had high hopes with all the excellent actives it includes. Unfortunately, the filler ingredients aren't the greatest for my skin and caused irritation.

I’m not sure that I’ve seen any results after using two bottles. It is more costly than the regular serum. I don’t like that I cannot see through the bottle. Never sure how much you have left.

I can't tell that this really packs a punch with active ingredients. It goes on very nicely, and it's a great light moisturizer, but I don't necessarily see the benefits of its active ingredients. Usually when my skin gets topical vitamin c, it tingles, plumps up, and I wake up feeling healed and hydrated. This product doesn't necessarily make me feel this way. Maybe it's just not for me?

fooled by the bottle
I have to say this product is decent. Product-wise, I will give it three and half stars. No amazing effect, no bad skin reaction. (but it only lasted over one months, so...) What turns me away from it is the design of the bottle. I used it up in barely one and half months by dabbing just a little every night, not as generous as twice a day. I wondered why this product ran out so fast. As I removed the pump of the bottle, I could see the inside of the bottle is narrow and shallow. It holds only a tiny amount of lotion. Considering that this is a serum product, I was not particularly surprised by the contrast between the size of the bottle and the content it holds. But I felt being fooled. Over a hundred dollars on that amount of serum of this brand? I would have spent it on other better brands.
