I love this primer. I have large pores and oily skin and have used other primers. But, thus far, all those I used previously seemed "heavy" and thick on my skin. I was tired of seeing my face look so shiny in photographs, so I decided to try this product. It works great! BUT, you only need a small amount. It is best to tap in on your skin until it is absorbed lightly. I found if you rub it in, the product tends to pull up and flake off, which is kind of weird and unexpected. Once I figured out the best way to use it, I was thrilled with the results.

Excellent mattifying primer!
I got this product as a sample and I agree with a previous review about it drying very quickly! And if you keep trying to pat it or massage it in, major pilling happens and you need to brush off product crumbs. So you just need to get used to the product and how to apply it quickly to ensure that doesn''t happen. However, after you figure that out, this product is amazing! I have dry/oil combination skin. I also live in NE where the summer humidity can be above 80% and cause oiliness in just an hour. I wore this on 4th of July where we were outside in the summer heat/humidity for 6 hours, and I never once felt oily. When we got home, I was surprised at how my makeup looked like I had just applied it! I will definitely be buying this as my go to primer!

I purchased this product thinking that it might reduce hot weather shine and it may help with that but at the cost of showing wrinkles on my face that I hadn't noticed before. Skin feels very dry with this product. I may just use it on my nose at times.

I use Glo Minerals Luxe Liquid foundation and I wasn't happy with the dewy finish, even when used with powder. Always moving and felt wet. Using the mattifying primer solved the problem. End result looks more natural. Only tip is to apply it quickly and stop rubbing as soon as it is dry. It dries fast and if you keep rubbing it starts to pill up in little tiny particles and comes back off into the hand. Might take a couple applications to get the hang of it. I would recommend this product.
