Since I’ve used this product (& I only take one every morning instead of 2), I feel like my skin burns less in the sun. I still wear sunscreen but with the meds I take, I used to burn anyway. I believe this product works. Maybe by the time I turn 70, (I’m 47 now), the results will be very obvious by my skin’s condition!

This product was recommended to me by my local Dermatologist about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I'm a young appearing 73 y.o. & concerned about dark spots & overall lack of luster. The Advanced formula had recently come out. I started immediately and I can tell you that along with all the other great product lines I purchase via LovelySkin, my skin looks 100% improved. It's difficult to determine which of the products caused this improvement, however, this product certainly was at least partially responsible. Although existing dark spots haven't necessarily gone away, it has retarded new ones especially on my face.

I've been limiting my sun exposure due to a recent laser treatment, so naturally I was interested to try this supplement as support for my resurfaced skin. I always find it difficult to rate supplements. They tend to not have immediate obvious results. Heliocare is no different. I continue to buy them because of reviews and they're dermatologist recommended. There is research that proves they work. They obviously have not caused me any negative results otherwise I would terminate the use. I usually wait a year to review supplements. To date I can say I have noticed one thing: when it comes to skin exposure I have experienced no redness, and tan better. I think it might be the supplement or the combination of other things implemented. I'm not sure yet. I know I'm not giving up on this supplement. I hope to review again in the future with 4 or 5 stars.

To be honest, my dermatologist recommended Heliocare to me many years ago; you see, I am allergic to the sun and can't go out even to the doctor's office or to get groceries without wearing a long-sleeved jacket or top AND taken the Heliocare capsules. I've gotten malignant skin cancer twice that had to be cut out, so without Heliocare Advanced, I don't know what I would do. It's really a life-saver for me. I MUST admit a lot of my problems are due to my going to the tanning spa and getting into their hottest beds, using the hottest oil.. SURE, I'd get a great tan, but it's not worth it! So, now I TRY to warn those girls who are tan to stay away from the spa... Does no good though.
