I've used this brush cleaner for years. Spritz it on your makeup brushes, rub them on a paper towel or tissue, and off comes the makeup residue. It's not a replacement for a deep cleanse, but it does a great job of cleaning the brush if you're changing colors and after you've finished getting ready for the day.

I bought this brush cleaner because I really like the Jane Iredale collection of products. I was looking for something that would provide a quick clean during the week until I wash my brushes on the weekends. This cleans ok, it seems to take a lot of product to get the brush saturated enough to brush it on a tissue to clean it. I find that I have to spray it about 15-20 times in order to get the makeup off the brushes and then it still seems like I need to actually wash it to get it really clean. I’m disappointed in the brush cleaner, but still like the other Jane Iredale products I have purchased.

I don't always have time to wash my brushes but definitely want to make sure that my brushes are sanitary. This smells nice and removes a bit a product from the brush. It sprays a very fine mist that seems to evaporate quickly. After lightly spritzing my brush, I swipe the brush lightly across a microfiber towel or tissue to dry and remove any residue. The brush is then ready to use in powder or for application of a liquid foundation. I have sensitive skin and have never experienced any irritation or issues. The fragrance is light and a bit citrusy. It's fresh smelling, and similar to the Jane Iredale setting sprays. The bottle lasts a long time.

This brush cleaner makes it super fast and easy to clean and sanitize your brushes without all the fuss of soap and water -- I spray it on liberally, then wipe the brush on a washcloth until no more color comes out. Brushes are left deodorized and fresh-feeling, and it doesn't seem to build up on the bristles. It's especially fantastic for dense round foundation brushes, which can take multiple days to dry out after washing in water. Who has the time for that?
