It sprays a very fine mist that seems to evaporate quickly. After lightly spritzing my brush, I swipe the brush lightly across a microfiber towel or tissue to dry and remove any residue. The brush is then ready to use in powder or for application of a liquid foundation. I have sensitive skin and have never experienced any irritation or issues. The fragrance is light and a bit citrusy. It's fresh smelling, and similar to the Jane Iredale setting sprays. The bottle lasts a long time.

It's especially fantastic for dense round foundation brushes, which can take multiple days to dry out after washing in water. Who has the time for that?
