Well first off, I ordered a shade too light, which is ruining this BB cream for me. Also I don't think it blends very well into my skin. It seems to enhance lines and look cake-y. And the glowing effect I'm not seeing. I don't feel like my skin looks dewy or glistening at all. I won't order this product again unfortunately.

I followed the instructions to determine the correct shade. When I received it, the color was way too light and yellow - so much so that I could not mix it with other foundations to make it acceptable. I gave it a 2 because I like the consistency. I did return it (which was easy) and ordered a product more suited for me. If you want to purchase this product, I recommend that you call first and talk to the experts for advice on the correct shade.

I want to like the Jane Iredale liquid foundation-type products, but they just don''t work well on my skin. I bought in part because of the 4-5 star reviews. I live in the tropics and need sun protection in my foundation but this felt like I needed a spackling knife to spread it and the Light Medium color i purchased looked literally yellow as it came out of the container. Rather than "glowing" my skin looked dead.

For my skin the light to medium shade is too pale . The cream is rather thick but It does give a smooth effect. Applying with the sponge or fingers worked equally well for me but the contrast between face and neck was obvious. Perhaps the darker shade would be more suitable but my complexion is on the fair side so maybe not. I was looking forward to using the cream but am rather disappointed.
