Reviews For La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Tinted Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50
Nice Sunscreen 3.5 Stars
I needed a mineral sunscreen for pregnancy and decided to try this one. The texture is nice and doesn't really feel too greasy on the skin. I found that if my skin is dry, the sunscreen causes some pilling. The tint is light but enough for me, if you have blemishes or skin concerns, you might be better off using the version without the tint. So while it's not my favorite, it does get the job done.

Too Dark for My Fair Skin
A lot of people love this sunscreen, but I have very very fair skin and unfortunately this looked oddly dark on me.

Not my favorite
The sunscreen itself is fine; however, tint is too dark for me (fair blond). Consistently is good, and to be fair I gave to my sister (brunette) and she loves it.

My skin looks a little dry after applying
The consistency of this item is really good and easy to apply. However, I found that my skin looks very dry after applying it.

It’s okay…
Not the best tinted sunscreen out there, not the worst. I find the color to be a little blah and makeup-y, but a lot of people swear by this product. I much prefer the color and texture of the SkinCeuticals tinted sunscreen.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Tinted Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid
This is very thin and did not seem tinted at all on my light skin.

Like but not love
It is a bit too liquidy, oily and light. If it was just a bit thicker and felt less greasy I would love it. I do love the thin and funky bottle it comes in.

Drying and too light
This has a really nice liquidy texture that's very easy to apply and feels great going on. It also has a lovely olive undertone that isn't orange or red at all, but unfortunately it was too light for my Phototype IV/MAC NC40 skin. I also found it extremely drying and it irritated my dermatitis. The pigments also broke up throughout the day and it transfers very easily, which concerns me when it comes to getting resilient protection. I live in a dry, hot climate so it's not due to humidity. I think if you have normal (not oily) skin that has no issues with dehydration, then this might be for you. For a US mineral sunscreen, the texture is impressive!

Tinted Sunscreen
It blends well with your skin but it has a funny smell. Bottle is small for the price.

Nice for beach days
It's a light nice sunscreen, I wish it had a tad bit more coverage. Feels good on really hot days.

Beware very fair skin tones
I bought this by mistake. I usually use the untinted version, which I've repurchased several times. I'm sure it's a wonderful product, but the tint is too dark for my skin tone, as are most "universal" tinted sunscreens. I think La-Roche Posay offers top of the line sun protection. This one was just not for me.

Not as good as the sample
I initially bought this because I loved the sample! Unfortunately, the full size product is much too greasy and leaves my skin looking oily, which not usually a problem for me. Additionally, the sample had a much longer lasting color (as evidenced by what was on my makeup remover wipe after 14 hours of wear). I tried it a number of times but ended up returning it in the end.

Good as a sunscreen
I was looking for more of a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen to use as my daily makeup, and after trying a sample of this, I thought this was it. However, it doesn't last all day as far as coverage goes. It seems to "disappear” as far as the coverage goes and needs to be reapplied if using as a cover up. I will keep it because it is still nice to use if I am just home and gardening for a little more coverage than just sunscreen, but I don't think I will purchase again.

Too heavy for me, my mom loves it though!
This was a little to greasy for me as I'm very oily. Not sure if tinted sunscreens are for me as they contain dimethicone which often clogs my pores. I decided to give it to my mom and she loves it. I think this is best for mature skin. I think us acne/oil prone skins should stick with non tinted sunscreens, better for reapplying, and for keeping pores breathing without a dimethicone barrier on top of them. I like Glytone SPF 40, no breakouts whatsoever.
