I tested more than a dozen sunscreens...
It's true, I tried so many sunscreens, they were either too heavy or too white or too thick or all of the above. One - neutrogena dry touch - gave me a full face and neck itchy rash that lasted 10 days. I keep their ingredient list on my phone so I can avoid those ingredients in the future. The Anthelios has an odd tint but seems to even out okay. You need to shake it up and little goes a long way which makes the price hurt less.

This sunscreen feels nice and light on the skin. It is a medium dark tint, but rubbing it in on my face, I notice it « disappears. ». I like that. What is unfortunate is that even after washing my face and using my towel, I might have a residual brown tint on my white towels. I must be very careful with the removal of my sunscreen, more careful than with a plain white tint.

I ordered this sunscreen after having Morpheus 8 microneedling. It has a nice tint and the mineral aspect goes on treated skin well. I've liked most all of La Roche-Posay products I've tried. I didn't give this a 5 star only because it's not quite as moisturizing as I would like. Other than that the color is very nice and goes on nicely. As it dries down is when it starts to become rather dry looking. I don't use foundation over it so I'm not sure how it would be with foundation, I only wear tinted moisturizer with SPF daily.

Did I use too much or does it take a long time to dry? I ended up dabbing my face with a tissue and a lot came off. When I washed my face that evening I could detect it on the washcloth so evidently I had enough o to do the trick. I’ll experiment with it and keep using it. I have repurchased this twice more even though it gives my fair skin a bit too much color. It's rare to find a sunscreen that is non-zinc and non-chemical. After I powder my face, it stays shine free all day. I do know it's best to do a cleanse before a reapplication though I watched a video of a woman test this and reapply every few hours without cleansing, and she looked terrific. I haven't had the need yet to reapply.

If you have oily skin and suffer from oil coming out of your pores in mid day- this sunscreen will help eliminating that. Overall good feel when applied, gives a bit of white tint to the skin which I am OK with for now but for individuals with tan skin (like my husband), left white layer on the skin after application. I am breaking out as well (have super sensitive skin and is acne prone too), although it is too early for me to rule out this sunscreen to be the cause. I would think it is just my skin. Worth a shot.
