Great product
This definitely takes time, it won’t work wonders in a couple nights or even a couple weeks, it takes months from my experience since you need to start off slow. But after that, it really makes a difference in your skin. My complexion is so much more even and the breakouts have lessened so much. It isn’t a cure all for me, because I think I’ll always have occasional hormonal breakouts, but it helps so much in terms of amount and even how fast they go away.

Works for acne
Moved on to Rx for more anti-aging benefits, but this helped keep my skin clearer during monthly breakouts.

Mostly good
I changed to this coming from a 1% retinol cream and I still got flaking/peeling for the first few days using this. I didn’t expect it to be much stronger but it was a pleasant surprise. Only negative is that if you use too much it can start to pill and rub off.

Adapalene gel
Good product, can be a little to drying if used to often without incorporating a moisturizer. Worked best for me to start with 2 times a week to adjust my skin . Cost effective and does work.

Beginners product
This is a good start to use retinol for beginners. I feels like it is working, without drying out skin too much.

Just started using it...
I just started using this… on my upper back. I use just a little bit to help tackle my back acne. So far not much to say about the results as it has not been enough time, however it has not made me irritated or dry which is a huge plus for me. I will continue using it. I hope that this will help make my back look super clear!

LovelySkin Has the Best Price on This!
Loved the pricing and the product. It has a nice, easy-to-spread texture. I introduced it SLOWLY to reduce any irritation... Once a week for two weeks, then twice a week for two weeks, etc. My skin doesn't allow me to use it daily like the label says, but it worked to using it every 2-3 days, and I'm happy with the results. Listen to your skin with this product! (And wear sunscreen and re-apply it throughout the day, too.) I found that applying a thin layer of moisturizer before applying this product helped quite a bit -- I would apply another layer of moisturizer after applying this and my skin really appreciated the thin buffer.

Effective with consistent use
I've been using this product for 3 months now. It does cause some purging and I have not experienced any irritation. I'm seeing increased skin clarity and my breakouts are definitely reduced in severity. My skin is not completely clear, but I will continue to use as I think the benefits will increase with time. The key to using this is consistency and giving the product sufficient time to work--it won't produce results overnight.

Good for Smooth Skin
I have used Adapalene Gel 0.1 for years, but the La Roche-Posay brand is the best I have used. I use it mainly to help with whiteheads and sun damage. It definitely helps and La Roche-Posay seems not to irritate my skin as much as other brands. It is best to use moisturizer 5 to 10 minutes after applying it so as to reduce irritation.

I used for my back acnes.
I used for my back acnes. I applied on my skin after I took shower. This maybe helped to stop more breakouts but I didn't feel dramatic curing or changing. Still a good product though. I like this gel texture.

No issues
I apply this product after my night time moisturizer and have had no issues with flaking or peeling. It smoothes over skin easily and soaks in quickly. I gave a four because despite consistent use, I have not seen improvement in my acne, however, I have noticed improvement in my acne scarring from past blemishes.

Be patient, it works
I am pleased with the low price point of this vitamin A derivative, compared to retinol or even a retinol prescription. I have been using it for a couple months and never went through a purge period like others. I will keep using and have purchased a backup.

Works well
I’ve had cystic type acne breakouts all my life & am still having trouble into my 60s with at least a monthly problem. I’ve tried many products. I tried this product 3 months ago and no more breakouts of what I call underground pimples that won’t go away for weeks! The product goes on well & dries quickly. My only complaint is that it is a bit drying (I have sensitive skin) even though I use a face cream but using the face cream twice a day has helped this problem which is well worth it! I would highly recommend this product.

Good Product
I've only been using it for a few weeks, mostly for some spots of sebaceous hyperplasia on my forehead. I think it's working. Some the spots seem smaller and the skin looks smoother. It is drying, though, so make sure to use a moisturizer. I use it every day with a moisturizer and I don't get flaky. If I forget to moisturize, I flake.
